That's me!

Fabio Rothmund

After being born and raised in Winterthur Switzerland, I have spent my first few years of my American Football career with the Winterthur Warriors. After six years there and then two successful seasons in the GFL abroad, I have made the next step and committed to a team in the ELF for 2023. Unfortunately due to health reasons, I had to cancel the season and in the end even retire from Football completely. A new chapter began.

Physiotherapy: My second primary passion

Next to my enthusiasm for sports, I do have another, at least as big passion for Physiotherapy and everything that goes with it. My thirst for knowledge, my wish to support others and me always trying to be 1% better the next time, all keep me busy and are just a few reasons why I started PEAK.

Sports career

After two successful seasons in the GFL, the next step was made. In 2023 I planned to fight for the first ever Swiss ELF Franchise, the Helvetic Guards! Unfortunately due to health reasons I have not been able to hit the field at all and in the end had to retire from Football completely.

Last year I had the honor to play for Headcoach Elias Gnifke and the Allgäu Comets (GFL south). After a rough start we fought our way through the league and shocked everyone with a underdog-win against Braunschweig in the quarter finals. Unfortunately our season ended a few weeks later after a loss in the semi-finals.

My first appearance for the Swiss National Team was in 2017 when we recorded the first National Team victory in over a decade in the qualification round for the following european championship (U19) in the Netherlands. Since this day I have been a part of it.

Headcoach Sebastian Fandert and the Ravensburg Razorbacks jumpstarted my career. Thanks to their recruiting, I had my GFL debut on the fourth of June 2021

after a missing GFL season in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Winterthur, 2014: Where it all started. After just one practice with the Winterthur Warriors (U16) I knew that this was the sport I will continue. We have won the Swiss U16 Championship the same year and I later moved on to fight in the U19 and even later for the Seniors for one season in 2019.
A familiy to this date!

Along with my first National Team appearance in 2017 I have been invited to play for the European All-Star Team Europe Warriors U19. After days and days of hard practices in the mexican sun, together with around 55 guys from all over Europe we teamed up and fought the Mexican National Team.
Experience of a lifetime!
